Aerial yoga is fun but requires additional safety measures to prevent injuries. Below are a few rules to keep in mind.

  1. Please do not flip upside down in the swing without instruction.
  2. Know your body and your own limitations. Do not attempt a pose, especially an inversion if you are not ready to do so.
  3. No jewelry or zippers to prevent rips in the swings.
  4. Avoid practicing on a full stomach.
  5. Do not wear overly baggy clothing that could get caught in the swing.
  6. Do not sign up for aerial yoga if you are pregnant.
  7. Students may sit in swings before class begins but please do not attempt poses without instruction.
  8. All students are required to sign a liability waiver prior to taking aerial yoga class.
  9. Policies for aerial yoga may be added as needed. Please refer to the blog.
  10. The instructor reserves the right to refuse service to anyone who does not adhere to the aerial yoga policies.
  11. The manufacturer of the hammocks has a set weight limit of 200 lbs per swing.
  12. No recording is allowed in the studio at any time.
  13. A client may not send someone else to fill their swing if they cancel.
